The Minstrel tapestry
The Minstrel tapestry was designed by John Henry Dearle for Morris & Co in 1899, shortly after the death of William Morris. His influence is clear however with this musician dressed in a long robe playing a lute in an alcove in a garden. This Arts and Crafts wall tapestry is now woven in France in 80% cotton and 20% viscose. It is lined with a rod pocket – we supply hanging information with all orders. You can view this tapestry in the gallery of room settings.
The Minstrel tapestry wall hanging is available in two sizes. This French tapestry is also available without the border.
