Midsummer’s Eve tapestry
The Midsummer’s Eve tapestry is from a 1908 watercolour painting by Edward Robert Hughes (1851-1914). His symbolic aesthetic style was influenced by Pre-Raphaelite painters, especially William Holman Hunt and Edward Burne-Jones. This delightful French tapestry is woven in 96% cotton and is lined with a rod pocket for hanging. It is one of very few fairies tapestries. We supply instructions for easy tapestry wall-hanging with every order.
