Flora is a 1885 tapestry design by William Morris and Edward Burne-Jones. As with other tapestries such as Pomona William Morris created the background with flowers and swirling acanthus leaves and Edward Burne-Jones designed the figure. It was woven at Merton Abbey and represents Spring ( whereas Pomona represents Autumn). The original Flora tapestry included a verse. This version is a detail without the verse and border. It is now woven in France in a cotton blend and is lined, with a rod pocket for hanging. We supply instructions for easy tapestry wall-hanging with every order.
Flora is available in one size.
