The Bullerswood William Morris throw has a fascinating story which adds to the pleasure it brings. This famous design was created by William Morris in 1889 and woven by Morris & Co as a 17′ x 13′ carpet for a house in Kent. Then it disappeared. In 2001 it was discovered in the Australian outback! This version of the carpet is a soft versatile throw woven in France in 41% wool, 41% acrylic and 18% cotton. It could be a sumptuous Arts & Crafts tablecloth.
