Honour the Women tapestry

The Honour the Women tapestry is also known as Women’s Worth, Wurde der Frauen. It was designed by Austrian Marianne Stokes in 1912 from a 1796 poem entitled Women’s Worth, Ehret die Frauen. It illustrates five virtues of women: Courage, Nurture, Love, Wisdom and Fidelity. The original tapestry was woven at Merton Abbey by Morris & Co and is now on display at the Whitworth Art Gallery in Manchester.

This Arts and Crafts wall tapestry is woven in France in 100% cotton, lined and has a rod pocket for ease of hanging and is available in two sizes:
